* Mappool: Monsoon - Torment - Phrantic - Placebo - Galang - Cobalt, Ruiner, and our two latest maps releases Aerowalk Revisted and House of Decay
* Timelimit: 15 minutes
* Start: 06th of March 2011 @ 15:00 CET - Check-in 30 mins. before

The cup modul we are using got now a major update to the next level.
Here the changelog:
1) simple/detailed view of my teams or user teams
2) title_cup -> shows either IRC, checked, unchecked, login or signup (depends on status etc)
3) hall of fame fixed
4) select host at admin for IRC chat
5) (match status + tooltip) + reporting in brackets
6) remove border images
7) auto convert non-alphanumeric nicknames to alphanumerics for IRC/cup/clan names and clantag
8: cup chat for 1on1 cups.
9) can not register team in cup if you already have another team in the cup
10) fixed validation bugs at autocheckin
11) gameaccount validation option (disable/enable)
12) checkin times corrected at auto-checkin for autocheckin
13) can not submit scores if team is unchecked
14) show agreed/protest links at matches module for only competitors, otherwise show pending.
15) can not submit score if match has been protested
16) live status fixed for teams/user cups
17) show clan tag + nickname for cup chat IRC (all alphas)
18: show if owner, leader or rank for cup chat IRC (O-, L-,M-)
19) now shows corrected start/date at clanregister/autocheckin (confirm alert)
20) at signup quicknavi, show border and scroll if cup has been selected
21) show 5 latest cup matches (sc_)
22) can not leave cup if status is not signup phase
23) can not change nickname in IRC unless edited from user-profile.
Upcoming:
1) additional stats for matches module
2) detailed on cup players for 1on1 cups
3) gameaccount LIMIT at clanregister/autocheckin + values in admin/settings.
4) fixed bug at cup box (multiple sign-up links)
5) Match search
Cup is cancelled. This is very disappointed. Only 5 teams were signed but with only 1 player instead of 2 each team, at least 0 teams have checked-in....

A revised version of Threewave's q3wxs1 made by mnemjc for Quake 4 is released.
This map is set in an icy cavern theme.

Hi all fellow Quakers.
It took a bit of time to organisate the next spontan cup, but time was needed because we are now ready to upgrade the cup script. Its now more faster and easier to handle (we hope so) and now we wanna test it. Visible epic changes can you see on the right site navigation, the new cup boxes with more infos and quick links in there.
We are going on with another Quake 4 Cup, called 1v1 good-bye-to-q4max cup, starting on Sunday next weekend.
This will be very probably last cup with the q4max mod. Because GTR mod is rolling to us very soon now approximately in the next weeks and we will switch our cups and our pickup games to the gtr mod.

After a big break for any spontan events and with more or less activity in the Quake 4 szene, we now coming back and trying further cups cause the Quake 4 CTF szene is now active on a high level.
We're hosting now our #spontanQ4CTF Fun Cup #7.
CTF Cup Details
* Begins: 28.Feb 2010, 16:00 CET, check-in 1 hour before
* 4-8 Teams
* 3 Maps per round, double elimination
* Final will be BO5 (Best of 5)
* Mappool with 5 maps, 4 standard maps (Ruiner, DBD, CamperCrossings, SpiderCrossings and one more map you can vote here on that page.
* IRC cup channel: #spontanq4cup (QuakeNet) Mappool Update: The poll is over and the 5th map in the ctf cup is called Heartless_perf_norg
If you wanna signup up then go to the cupmenu, now you can choose from Duel Cups (default set) or Team Based Cups (click the Team Area Hover-Link) but be sure you are logged in to the site, at first u have to create a team for your clan, after that then you can signup for your desired cup.

All matches are agreed in the cup channel and Team Captains choose server that is most equal* for both nations.
IP addres must be announced to admin.

UPDATE:
The 10th 1v1 has finished and the winner of 1on1 cup #10 is: aCtion`nite ++ congratz ++
There was some players who didnt show up , but on the end we managed to come through without them and got some subs, hopefully next cup will have more people and that really all people are avail who signed up for!
At least we saw some very nice matches. In a thriller grand final game we could see from swedish player aCtion`nite who managed to beat german player kHRYSTAL_^ in two maps on monsoon 23:4 and placebo 21.15
